libdbix-sequence-perl software package provides simple SQL92 ID generator, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdbix-sequence-perl
libdbix-sequence-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdbix-sequence-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdbix-sequence-perl *
You will get with libdbix-sequence-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
